We are starting a community meal/movie showing/hang out session that will happen on Monday nights, once a month. At 7pm we will start a movie, which will be decidedly a-political. We are making this an adult only event, as we want to reach out to older folks in our neighborhood, and not have to worry about choosing kid-friendly movies.

On January 2nd, come watch Die Hard (1988) with us. This movie is rated R. Plot synopsis: “New York cop John McClane gives terrorists a dose of their own medicine as they hold hostages in an LA office building. ”  131 minutes.

We will cook up a big pot of rice and a big pot of red beans New Orleans style. Feel free to bring a dish to share if you are compelled to do so, but otherwise just come to hang out. We will also have popcorn/chips.
