People are welcome to come and bring projects they are working on, ideas to share, material to share, and snacks to share. The Wingnut has some craft supplies available to other people too. As always, these are sober, all ages events.

Craft Nights are good times to work on school projects, banners and signs for protests and rallies, zines, etc.!

Craft Night

Wednesday June 30th from 7-9 at the Wingnut

Some of the kids in our neighborhood want to learn to sew! So on the 30th we will have a sewing specific craft night.
Anyone who wants to come help us give the kids the one on one attention this will probably require would be seriously appreciated.
Or if you want to learn to hand sew you should come too!
Or just come work on some sewing project of your own, even if you don’t want to help other folks learn.
Hope to see you there!

This is the letter we delivered to all of our neighbors, since it is too snowy right now to do proper in person introductions

Hey Yall

We are your new neighbors, at 2005 Barton Avenue aka The Wingnut. We bought the house in July, and have spent the past months getting the house fixed up so it is no longer condemned. We hope to remedy this soon, but in the meantime wanted to tell you a little about ourselves and get you some contact information.
